Heythrop Library is an amazing resource. It is on two sites – Philosophy in the main College building, and Theology, Social Sciences, Language and Literature in a separate building within the campus.
The library dates back to the founding of the College in 1614. It has some 180,000 volumes in its collections, and is one of the finest libraries of theological and philosophical books in the UK.
We welcome visitors to the Library, including members of other academic institutions, organised visits from schools or colleges, and members of the public.
If you are an alumni you can get a reference access to the Library for FREE. You may also be eligible to apply for a full membership and borrow from the Library.
Most other visitors will be able to obtain a regular reference only access. This membership may be given per term, per annum or per week.
Please contact the Library at firstname.lastname@example.org before purchasing your membership to provide details for your Library card.
